CBEs FIRST INTERNATIONAL SEMINARY 2008
46 people, 13 countries, 29 companies joined together during three days of conferences and visits of production sites in France and in Spain. The automated prefabrication of segments was the main theme of CBEs' first International Seminar, which was held on October 14 until 17, 2008.
In the heart of the Loire Valley, French area considered by its history and its gastronomy, CBE united successfully representatives of customer companies, prime contractors and specialists in prefabrication as well as agents of CBEs global network in technical sessions concerning development and presentation of CBEs latest innovations regarding piloting of prefabrication tools (CBE Dpt. Industrial Automatism), modelling vibration constraints (CBE Dpt. Research & Development) and conceptualization of future production factories (CBE Dpt. Design).
Moreover, the debates were also supported by the intervention of some technical and industrial partners.
The technical conclusion of this event proceeded in Spain, in Sorigue close to Barcelona, by visiting a current site of automated segment production in operation. A visit that represents the dimension of CBEs success in this field for more than ten years, in Spain, in Europe and in the whole world with more than 50 automatic factories installed since 2002.
"The event was not only very educational, but presented a very positive way for all of us to exchange various ideas and methods that each one of us uses in his sector", a participant commented.
