Project Update

CBE Group supplies Miami Port Tunnel

CBE Group will supply four sets of segment moulds to Bouygues Civil Works Florida, who is in charge of the construction of the 1,2 km Miami Port Tunnel in the US.

Five Sets of Moulds for Lee Tunnel in the UK

CBE Group supplies five sets of moulds with an exterior diameter of 8500 mm to Morgan Sindall, partner of Vinci Construction Grands Projets and Bachy Soletanche, forming the MVB Joint Venture in charge of Lee Tunnel. The first sod on the London building site had been cut on September 30, 2010. The TBM is due to start work in 2012.

Our Commercial Director Alain Préaut had been on America’s biggest tunneling trade show, the Rapid Excavation & Tunneling Conference 2009, on June 13^th until 18^th  in sunny & warm Las Vegas, Nevada, along with American Commercial Inc. at the Caesar’s Palace on Las Vegas Boulevard South.

This years’ World Tunneling Congress at Budapest had shown once again the importance of such reunions, especially in times of crisis, which is without doubt visible in the construction domain too. This is one more reason for CEO Didier Lefebvre to represent personally CBE Group within the AFTES booth on May 25^th.
