May 14, 2023 - Less than a year after its 2022 edition in Copenhague, the 2023 World Tunnel Congress takes up residence in Athens, at the Megaron – International Conference Centre, on the initiative of ITA-AITES.

December 8, 2023 - In its November issue, Tunnelling Journal’s journalist Nicole Robinson reports on how segment production is impacted by current difficult circumstances for the global supply chain, and how the industry is coping. October 13, 2022 - The BAUMA exhibition opens its doors again, 3 years after its last edition in 2019. From the 24th to the 30th of October 2022, meet CBE GROUP’s Sales Team on its booth, among 3,000 exhibitors from 58 different countries, in the middle of 614 000 sqm of exhibition.

August 29, 2022 - The World Tunnel Congress is coming back in 2022, with an event which takes place in Copenhagen, Denmark. CBE Group has decided to join a group of French key players and to participate in a booth together, “Groundbreaking Companies” on booth E56.

June 7, 2022 - CBE Group continues to show its interest for American tunnel projects, by showcasing its brand on booth 511 at the NORTH AMERICAN TUNNELING CONFERENCE held in Philadelphia, USA, on June 19-22. More than 1000 participants and 150 international exhibitors are expected to attend.

March 29, 2022 - CBE Group recently won 2 contracts within a few weeks of each other, with its client ITALIAN-THAI DEVELOPMENT. One of the leading contractors in South-East Asia, ITD ordered several segment moulds from CBE, for both the KLONG PREM PRACHAKORN DRAINAGE and the 9TH PLAN WATERWORK IMPROVEMENT projects in Bangkok.

January 10, 2022 - With 600 tunnel projects achieved worldwide since 1987, CBE Group confirms its expert status in the underground world. These past years, numerous projects have been launched in Asia, in North America or Oceania. Europe isn’t left out, notably with 2 projects signed in Norway since 2020.

December 16, 2021 - TECHNOPREF, DEMATHIEU BARD’s Precast Subsidiary in North America, has been working with CBE for 20 years. While working together on the HRBT project, we met Louis Charette, its General Manager, to discuss the relationship that unites both entities.

October 26, 2021 - At the end of 2020, CBE Group managed to deliver the moulds ordered a few months earlier by MULARROYA UTE (SACYR CONSTRUCCIÓN / ACCIONA CONSTRUCCIÓN), for the construction of the Mularroya diversion tunnel, in Spain. The peculiar international health context didn’t prevent CBE from delivering the order to the Spanish consortium on time.

September 3, 2021 - The sixteenth international congress organized by AFTES – the French Association for Tunnels and Underground Space – is held from September 6th to 8th in Paris. Meet with CBE Group on booth n°111 to discover upcoming projects.

August 23, 2021 - CBE Group is renowned in the tunnel business for its expertise in precast and in segment production optimization. In order to offer its clients a complete experience, the French company is always on the lookout for new functionalities for its products. 

June 3, 2021 - Numerous events have had to change their format due to the sanitary context of the past months. With the favourable upturn of these past weeks, new dates are coming in and events are back ! PENPAC, which represents CBE Group in Australia, was able to attend the ATS conference in Melbourne last month.

March 11, 2021 - After a year in 2020 marked by a demanding international environment, CBE Group begins 2021 with great projects to come. The French company has produced more than 27,000 segment moulds since its creation, and doesn’t intend to stop there !

January 7, 2021 - Pascal Clerc, actual General Director at CBE Group, looks back on his 15-year career within the company. An engineer from the Arts et Métiers school, he joined CBE in 2005. The small SME had already proven its worth by winning the Channel Tunnel segment moulds contract, and was seeking to structure itself in order to unleash its potential.

December 7, 2020 - After a start of the year affected by COVID-19, several Chinese underground projects of great scale have been signed in Yangling, home of CBE China. Recovery has been underway since June, and the segment mould production plant is now in full speed.

October 15, 2020 - HIGH SPEED 2 is the biggest infrastructure project in Europe, valued at 118 billion of euros. A new high speed railway line is going to emerge, with the end of phase 1 planned for 2033. CBE Group provides moulds and carousels on 3 sections of the project.

September 08, 2020 - CBE Group conceives, manufactures and installs tailor-made automated plants for its clients, allowing them to increase their production. CBE carousels have proven themselves worldwide, whether for tunnelling or for other sectors such as port.

August 03, 2020 - Projects have multiplied for the French company despite a slow start in 2019 for the tunnelling sector. CBE Group took advantage of this period to prepare the recovery, and is now ready to answer the growing demand.

June 25, 2020 - CBE Group signs its fourth american project with Traylor in one year. The CBE team is already in Los Angeles for the Westside 2 and 3 tunnel, they are extending their visit to prepare the Los Angeles Outfall project.

March 16, 2020 - CISMA was a professionnal organisation which gathered European companies from different sectors, such as : construction, steel and handling. Since June 2019, the group has decided to merge with PROFLUID to reinforce their actions, and to become EVOLIS.

March 02, 2020 - CBE Group introduces its new projects map updated for the new year 2020, with around 20 projects added of the company in 2019. Three new projects are coming in the United States and one more is in preparation in Australia.

January 27, 2020 - CBE Group celebrates its 33rd anniversary in March 2020, and still counts amid its staff some of its first employees. Jean-Philippe Menuet, onsite construction supervisor, participated in the first tunnel projects CBE won. We decided to learn more about the way he sees his job, and what are his best memories.

December 19, 2019 - With its three tunnels built on the same water recovery site in Sri Lanka, the UMA OYA construction site comes to an end after 11 years of works. CBE Group has been present since 2013 on the biggest multipurpose project ever done in the country for a better natural water management, generating an additional source of power for the inhabitants of the area.

November 25, 2019 - Rémy QUACH, who has been working for CBE Group since 2014, started off as an IVB Project Manager (International Volunteering in Business). A French national of Chinese descent, he recently became Planning Manager at CBE Group in China. His bi-cultural profile is useful to CBE Group in order to keep the connection strong between the headquarters in France and the Chinese subsidiary.

September 17, 2019 - We met in August 2019 with Bryce Scofield, General Manager for the Tunnelling Division and Cody Boykin, Precast Engineer, both working for TRAYLOR BROS INC. Having come to our production facilities in France to check on their moulds for the WESTSIDE 2 project, Bryce Scofield accepted to sit with us 

July 23, 2019 - The 2019 edition of the RETC exhibition took place in Chicago in the US from June 17th to 19th. CBE Group exhibited there, the last event of a heavy semester for our sales team. They have travelled a lot since the beginning of the year : Germany, Italy, twice the United States... A return to France rich in meetings and projects.

June 24, 2019 - CBE Group was awarded two contracts in the United States by its client Traylor Precast LLC, with whom the company already worked in the past, especially for the Bay Tunnel project in 2010 and the Westside 1 project in 2015. Today, Silicon Valley Clean Water and Westside 2 are in the launch phase.

May 21, 2019 - CBE Group exhibited at five shows during the first semester of 2019 and the Sales Team will conclude its marathon in June, with the RETC show in Chicago, United States. Just back from Naples where the CBE annual seminar was organised for the international agents, our collaborators leave in a few weeks for the last event of the early season.

May 6, 2019 - The Mostra d’Oltremare conference centre in Naples, Italy, welcomes the WTC show (World Tunnel Congress) from May 6th to 9th. CBE Group exhibits among more than 200 exhibitors from the tunnel field. This event is the opportunity for the French company to gather its agents from all over the world for an annual seminar.

April 18, 2019 - BAUMA 2019 ended on Sunday April 14th and saw a varied audience walk about its alleys : the 600 000 visitors who were expected did come to attend the biggest industry event in the world. CBE Group, along with its two other brands APS and ACIMEX, managed to take advantage of numerous opportunities.

March 28, 2019 - CBE Group will exhibit at the 32nd edition of BAUMA, the industrial worldwide show that takes place in Munich, Germany from April 8 to 14, 2019. This unavoidable event gathers all the industrial major actors of the XXIst century and concentrates the most important variety of expertise and innovation for the construction field.

March 19, 2019 - The French company can be proud of very satisfying production results for 2018 : CBE Group exceeds now 25 000 moulds manufactured by its French and Chinese teams since 1987.

February 7, 2019 - At the beginning of 2018, the company landed a contract for the creation of the Woluwe-Saint Pierre stormwater tank in Brussels, Belgium. DENYS - Wayss & Freytag - BAM Contractors called upon the expertise of CBE Group regarding the manufacturing of moulds for this particular project.

November 27, 2018 - « The construction site of the year », according to French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe. The Grand Paris Express project will serve the most important poles of activity and will bring the suburbs closer to Paris, thanks to its 200 kms of rail.

October 23, 2018 - One year after the opening of the WATERVIEW tunnel in Auckland, New-Zealand, CBE Group makes the review of this huge project : the longest tunnel of the country (2.4kms) and the 10th largest in the world.

July 18, 2018 - CBE Group delivered 32 segment moulds, as well as equipment, for the Eole project, in Ile-de-France. This underground project includes the boring of new tunnels, with one under la Défense.

June 26, 2018 - For the last few months, CBE Group has taken part in the huge London sewer rework project, THAMES TIDEWAY TUNNEL. The French midcap company won contracts on the three projects: WEST, CENTRAL & EAST, each time from different clients. Here’s a quick summary of the project and CBE Group’s role in it.

June 19, 2018 - CBE Group recently won two sizable contracts in Australia. The French midcap company will take part in two substantial projects: Melbourne metro and West Gate Tunnel, located in the same city.

May 4, 2018 - The WTC (World Tunnel Congress) took place on April 21-26 in Dubai, UAE. Gathering more than 200 exhibitors, among which CBE Group, the event attracted more that 1500 visitors in its alleys. At the heart of WTC this year, the role of underground space in building future sustainable cities.

April 3, 2018 - CBE Group has participated in more than 150 underground projects in the country since the creation of CBE China in 2009: a success due to local production and French expertise.

March 20, 2018 - North East Boundary Tunnel in the USA or the Dubai Deep Storm Water project in the United Arab Emirates are two of the new projects signed by CBE Group at the beginning of the year.

December 14, 2017 - On Monday December 11th, CBE Group won the 2017 «Top Export» award, attributed by La Nouvelle République, a regional newspaper. The award, already won by CBE Group back in 2010, distinguishes local companies which successfully export worldwide.

September 25, 2017 - In the year of its 30th anniversary, French SME CBE Group has signed its 500th project, which will take place in France. At the beginning of the summer, CBE Group officialised its participation in the creation of Line 15 South of the Parisian metro, a part of the “Grand Paris Express” project. CBE Group will provide its client GIE ALLIANCE with a carousel and several sets of moulds.

September 19, 2017 - CBE Group participated in the annual AFTES event, “Association Française du Tunnel et des Espaces Souterrains” (French association of tunnelling and underground spaces), from the 13th to 15th of November 2017, in Paris. The company also celebrated onsite its 30 years.

April 11, 2017 - Thirty years of experience allowed CBE Group to become one of the major operators in the tunnel industry in 2017, active on every continent, with more than 480 projects achieved. CBE Group is now the worldwide leader in the production of moulds and automated plants for tunnel segments.

April 11, 2017 - In 2015, CBE Group provided 3 carousels to the Acciona-Ghella joint-venture, mandated for the construction of the 22 km long double tunnel, linking Oslo, capital city, to Ski. The 3 carousels, as well as the moulds, were designed in the design office in Saint-Avertin, France. CBE Group took care of the production, installation and the launch of the 3 carousels.

April 11, 2017 - CBE Group has provided the moulds for the 9,2 km long railway tunnel linking the central railway station of Beijing in the district of Dongchen to the West station in the district of Fengtai. The latter was put in service in 2014.

April 11, 2017 - In 2014, CBE Group provided a double carousel to the Thiess-John Holland-Dragados JV for the concrete segments precasting of the North West Rail Link (NWRL) double tunnel in Sydney. In June 2015, the project was renamed “Sydney Metro Northwest”. The tunnel is the first phase of the Sydney metro, which will be the first Australian metro.

April 11, 2017 - In 2014, CBE Group provided 80 moulds to the JV International FAST, designated for the building of 3 new metro lines in Riyad. CBE Group has also designed, produced and installed a double precast carousel for the PACADAR Arabia LLC, which produced the segments used as tunnel coating of the Saudi capital city’s subways. 

April 11, 2017 - In 2014, CBE Group provided 6 master rings to Bay State Precast LLC for the Anacostia tunnel in Washington D.C, USA. This tunnel is part of the “Clean Rivers Project”, started in 2013, which will relieve the sewer system of the capital city.

April 11, 2017 - In 2015, CBE Group provided 45 moulds to the Consorcio Expresso Linha 6 for the sixth line of the São Paulo metro. CBE Group designed, produced and installed an automated plant which handled the segment production on site.
